America is a melting pot of all religious beliefs. The only way to show respect for all of our citizens is to never allow Federal or State funds to be used for any religious purposes. We are not a theocracy governed by a Judeo-Christian ethic. We are a nation governed by the rule of law. We must show equal respect for the beliefs of Christians, Jews, Moslems, Hindus, Bhuddists, Polytheists, Atheists, Agnostics and anyother type of religious belief or practice. The sole exception occurs when a person, in exercising his religious beliefs or practices, interferes with the civil rights of another. These, often difficult, conflicts must be put into the hands of an objective court system.
